Oxford

Sorry I haven't blogged recently, been extremely busy! (this will not happen again). Anyway I must share with you my weekend in Oxford. Now I thought Oxford would basically be a twin town to Cambridge and in many ways it is but it is far bigger to Cambridge. It is also filled with boutique and vintage stores and cafes.

Here are just a few examples:

(Sorry that was a passing shot!)

The Ballroom was  vintage shop and I must say it really was the epitome of vintage.

In addition these book stores, I felt like I was in Notting Hill.

Another thing which I loved was that the town was filled with little tapas bars and other unique restaurants of different cuisines, honestly half the time I did not feel like I was in England.

And then of course there were the traditional english restaurants but even that felt unique.

Apart from the food reason to visit Oxford is also perhaps the most obvious one which is the beauty of the city itself.

As you take a wander through the streets and colleges, you notice funny things.

A very exciting part of my trip though, it must be said, was I got caught up on a film set.

I had a chat with a few people who were working on set and I found out that it was for the upcoming film Posh, the director from One Day (one of my favourite films) is also directing this film. One of the film crew was kind enough to show me some of their equipment and explain a little about everything. It was extremely interesting and I must say it seems exciting to work with film.

One thing that is a must do whenever you visit either Oxford or Cambridge is to go punting!

I also caught sight of this beautiful sunset. I find sunsets so captivating and seeing the sky like this makes me love the outside.

I am wearing paige jeans with an asos top and toms.

I thoroughly recommend a trip to Oxford, a truly memorable city.
