A short walk

Still scorching hot on the second day, we stupidly decided to take a walk down our drive way and take in the scenery.

My photos don't show it very well but the countryside was a beautiful view with rambling hills and the sweetest houses.

You can just see the top of our villa through the trees.

At the bottom of our driveway was a small vegetable patch that belonged to the villas neighbors.

Tomatoes

Chillies

Pumpkins

We found this abandoned bath which (as you can see) we found very intriguing.. It was a bit odd that it was just lying there in the middle of nowhere.

We finally reached the sunflower field where we wanted to get to, by that point we were sweating and in great need of water so we didn't explore it that much nor did we care that much.

Also it must be said that the sunflowers really look quite sad and down due to the lack of water which also meant they had lost a lot of their colour.

Nevertheless it was a nice short walk to explore the surrounding area.

A tour

The first couple days it was forty plus degrees, you couldn't do much apart from sunbathe for about 10 mins and then jump straight into the pool to cool off. I'm going to show you around because this place was just gorgeous.

We found a five-legged spider which I think freaked a few people out.

I couldn't resist..

And again..

I love this type of furniture.

The flowers were so beautiful.

And of course lots of fresh fruit!

It was so hot on that first day so cold meat and salad was the perfect lunch!

It was one of the most relaxing days I have had in a long time and the whole day I was just hoping that the rest of the week would go slowly, apparently that hope was not fulfilled!
