Another beautiful sunny sunday afternoon. My family had friends over with two little boys so we decided to visit Hylands park. I had never been there before but someone suggested we go visit.
These are the two little boys, sometimes quite sweet..
and sometimes quite cheeky..
Anyway, we parked at the far end of the park and started walking towards the house and the gardens. It was a warm afternoon so there were plenty of people milling around, picnicking and playing football which added to the happy atmosphere.
There were also plenty of trees to climb.
Sweet little cottages too.
Walking through a couple of little paths, we reached the gardens.
It was a sweet garden with ponds and little alleyways.
and lots of fish!
We finally reached the back of the house, which wasn't as big as I expected but certainly lovely.
We came on the right day as it was inflatable day which meant there were bouncy castles, etc.. for the boys to play on.
Whilst everyone found things to do, I found the sweetest puppy!
I then walked to the front of the house and round the sides.
Following that, we strolled through the surrounding gardens.
Some of the flowers were truly beautiful. The gardens were quite picturesque but in my opinion no where near enough flowers! Having said that, a truly enjoyable day.
